The Gallery

The gallery has been developed in Coppermine by my son Daniel. The majority of pictures are taken at Non league football matches around Sussex and Surrey. I am also trying to get to grips with shooting some motor sport. When using the gallery click on a thumbnail image to see a larger version.

The Photos

I am currently resisting selling the photos via on-line services. I am now retired and I am not keen to get into serious business at the risk of it spoiling my enjoyment of photography. However due to the popularity of the gallery I am happy to make higher resolution images available for a small fee to cover costs, on request. Higher resolution images may also be made available for publication, by arrangement. I am happy for low resolution copies to be used on club websites, I only need an email request.

Note, contrary to some opinion it is not my intention to take bread and butter from any professional photographers.

This is a serious hobby which I enjoy immensely. I just wish I had been lucky enough to make it my career.

I lived in Hampton, Middlesex for many years. Went to Hampton Grammar School but couldn't really justify doing homework while The Goon Show was on. Most of my spare time was spent watching motor-cycle racing or going to local jazz clubs e.g. Eel Pie Island and Thames Hotel.

Spent many years in computing with companies including ABS Computers (Portslade), UIS Ltd (Epsom), Capscan Ltd (NW3) and Gultronics.

Settled in Chessington for about 28 years until moving to Wick near Littlehampton (via Tadworth) in 2002. In January 2008 moved to Southwater near Horsham.

Followed Wimbledon FC for about 25 years and now supporting AFC Wimbledon. Having rediscovered non-league football I am now also enjoying the Sussex football scene at clubs including Arundel, Rustington, Littlehampton, Wick, Chichester, East Preston and Horsham

In season 2007-8 I collaborated with David Bauckham (Nomad) to produce the book 'A Season of Sussex Soccer'
