EOS 50D did not arrive back in time for testing at the Coverpage gig so EOS 40D did a grand job
Website went down for a while after running out of space on the server but thankfully it was rescued by good old Dan
Eventually got to spend a few days at the caravan and tested the cameras with some fox shots

Apr 2nd 11a.m. John O'Hara final at Shoreham, pretty wet, Peacehaven & Telscombe 5 Crawley Down O. Crawley Down unlucky to be down to ten men for a lot of the game when already 1 down, keeper Shayne Goldsmith was unlucky to be sent off for handling outside the area. Goal of the day when Peacehaven & Telscombe's Wes Mills scored from a free kick halfway inside own half, about 65 yards.
Apr 2nd 3pm Div 2 final Littlehampton v Loxwood at Wick, surprisingly bright afternoon but very chill wind. Result 5-4 to Littlehampton who came from 2 down. Great performance from Craig Stoner in goal, Littlehampton got winner well into injury time. Steve Bailey's report for the Littlehampton Gazette here .
Apr 2nd 7.30 Div 3 final Bosham v Haywards Heath Town at Storrington. Dry but getting colder by the minute. Me questioning my sanity with shirtsleeves still damp from rain running inside coatsleeves at Shoreham! Very evenly matched and quite pacy (well I had trouble keeping up!) played in pretty good spirit. Dreading extra time, fingers frozen, Bosham finally nicked the only goal in 2nd half of extra time. Due to local concerns lights were switched off almost immediately but replaced by a couple of powerful lights on the clubhouse this caused me a few problems shooting presentations.

More shooting time lost this month due to bad weather and a heavy cold
Managed to take in Whitehawk v Marske FA Vase 5th round which went to 1-1. Whitehawk won the replay 3-2 and take on Gresley away in round 6
Tuesdays 16th and 23rd - washed out again
27th Feb A great win for Whitehawk who now go into the 2 leg semi final of the FA Vase against Wroxham!

16th - raining heavilly, snow going, now it's too wet everywhere!!

Only managed to get 9 games and a trip to the Isle of Wight in between cataract operations.
Sadly I missed:- Crawley v AFC Wimbledon, Tooting & Mitcham v Eastbourne Borough FA Cup replays.
AFC Wimbledon won 3-1 and go to Millwall.
Tooting & Mitcham won 4-3 with two extra time penalties and 2 Borough players sent off. T&M go to Stockport County

It's been a bit difficult updating my 'front end' website lately as I picked up something nasty on the PC and have had to reinstall a lot of software and data.
I am extremely grateful to the Geordie Phantom for saving my PC from the knacker's yard.
My plans to get lots of photo coverage for this football season have been scuppered somewhat by the need for cataract operations.
So I will be out of circulation from time to time up to Christmas. I still plan to get to as many games as is practical.
